1 | pint fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced |
½ | cup sugar |
8 | cups fresh lemonade (homemade or store-bought) |
1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Toss the sliced strawberries with the sugar and place them in an ovenproof baking dish in one even layer. Roast them for about 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
2. Place the cooled strawberries in a blender and puree until smooth.
3. Pour the strawberries into the lemonade pitcher and add in the lemonade. Stir well. To strain the liquid first mix the strawberries and lemonade together in a large mixing bowl. Then pour it through a strainer into the pitcher. Enjoy!
This terrific lemonade also makes excellent popsicles!
