1 | 4 to 5 lb boneless sirloin tip pork roast |
1 | liter cherry cola |
1 | cup barbeque sauce |
1 | tablespoon garlic salt |
Sauce:
1 | cup dried cherries |
½ | cup mustard |
¼ | cup cherry juice |
1. Add the pork to the slow-cooker and pour in the cherry-cola, bbq sauce and garlic salt. Turn it to high heat and allow it to cook for three hours.
2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan add the cherries, mustard and cherry juice and allow it to slowly melt together until a sauce forms.
3. Shred the pork and place it on the sandwich buns with a dab of sauce. Serve!
Pulled pork can be served warm or cold. Try serving it with a starch like rice or potatoes on the side. Oven baked french fries would be great, too!
5 minutes prep time, 5 minutes “shred & serve” time!
A great family recipe!
