10 Faves: Fall Baking Gear
Fall and winter are my favorite seasons for baking. I love it when my kitchen is filled with the aroma of warm spices and sweet nibbles. In fact, it won’t be too long before I start making and freezing cookie dough for our Christmas cookie platters this year. It is one of my favorite ways to get a jump start on the season and it always puts me in the holiday mood. (More tips about that in my book!) Here is some of my favorite fall baking gear:
Pumpkin loaf pan for making the cutest loaves of banana and pumpkin bread. (Williams-Sonoma, $26)
A gorgeous stoneware tart pan so you can go from oven to buffet in style. (Food52 Shop, $75)
Apple Pie Spice because it is perfectly blended and smells amazing! (King Arthur Flour, $7.95)
Quality baking extracts for flavoring cookies, cakes, and more. (Sonoma Syrup Co., $34.99)
The ultimate pumpkin spatula spoon. It is the best for stirring and scraping batter. (Le Creuset, price varies)
A pretty FEED apron that protects your clothes and will feed 14 families in the USA. Nice! (West Elm, $29)
Dish towels to clean up cookie dough splatter and make your kitchen pretty. (Ikea, $5.99)
Fall themed pie crust cutters so you always have the prettiest pie crusts in town, no advanced baking skills required. (Williams-Sonoma, $18.95)
Boiled cider to stir into baked goods, use in glazes, or whip into frosting. (King Arthur Flour, $10.95)
A mini donut pan because if there was ever a season for making donuts, this is it. (Wilton, $9.99)
