Sunday Eggs & A Big Zwilling Cookware Giveaway!

11-piece Zwilling Cookware Giveaway | The Naptime Chef

So, this winter we developed a weekend brunch routine. Every Sunday morning for the past few weeks I’ve been whipping up fried eggs and bacon, along with English muffins, tea, and juice for the whole family. There is pretty much nothing better than starting off the day with a hot meal before heading outside to play in the snow. (And yes, for the non-egg eater in my house there are pancakes, too!)

11-piece Zwilling Cookware Giveaway | The Naptime Chef

Recently my friends at Zwilling J.A. Henckels sent me these beautiful non-stick pans and they’ve made this egg-n-bacon routine easier than ever. Everything I make on them glides right off the pan and onto the plate perfectly cooked with nary a crumb left behind to burn. I love it! Since they conduct the heat so evenly I don’t have to thrash the pan around the stovetop to keep the egg yolks from setting too soon in hot spots, or worry about the bacon burning. Those days are behind me now!

11 Piece Zwilling Cookware Giveaway

A good non-stick pan is a mainstay in any kitchen and Zwilling J.A. Henckels wants to make sure you have one or two in yours. So, today they are giving away an 11-piece cookware set valued at $399.99! To enter to win:

1) Leave a comment sharing your favorite Sunday morning breakfast routine.

2) Follow Kelsey Banfield on Facebook.

3) Contest runs from February 10th at 7:00am through February 17th at 7:00am ET. Winner will be announced in the February 20th newsletter.

(Disclosure: I was sent these pans to review. The photographs and opinions are wholly my own.)

My husband really likes bacon. I am not nuts about cleaning up after cooking bacon. So, we have bacon on Sundays. We buy really nice thick smoky bacon from Trader Joes and really he doesn’t care if there are eggs, pancakes, English muffins or old shoes on his plate alongside it. I am happy, he is happy. My stepson (aged 24) eats only granola with almond milk and is also happy because he is (obviously!) infinitely more evolved than we are.

Sunday is pancake day, for as far back as I can remember my Mom and Dad made pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs and home-fries for the entire family!!! I take care of my Dad now, who is 87 and my Mom has long passed, but Sundays are still pancakes, sausage and eggs for breakfast (the menu got reduced because there are not 8 kids in the house anymore, lol)!!! It’s nice to know that some things never change though 🙂

We don’t always have the same thing for Sunday but it most always includes some kind of quiche and pancakes because the children love the pancakes. It can vary if we have an omelet, scrambled eggs, or some other type of eggs. We switch up the meat to include either scrapple, bacon, sausage, or on occasion steak. But our Sunday breakfast is always a tasty one. We’ve been having great Sunday breakfast since I was a young girl and now I have grandchildren. (Followed Kelsey Banfield on FB) Thank you.
