I recently had the pleasure of developing a recipe for Plum Organics, the awesome organic baby food company. They weren’t around when my daughter was little, but I wish they had been! For my contribution to their new recipe box I made some yummy fruit and yogurt pops. I added some Meyer lemon zest to creamy Greek yogurt and layered it with some of their most delicious fruit and vegetable baby food!
In honor of this new recipe Plum Organics is giving away a Yum Box of treats to one lucky winner. It contains:
– Coupons for Plum Organics products
– Stickers
– 6 pouches of toddler level Plum Organics Products
– A toddler snack product

I’m a subscriber and on fb. my favorite frozen treat is smoothies. I make mine with fruit, veggies, and nuts so I don’t have to cook and still get a well rounded diet.
Chocolate covered bananas are the best (especially if there’s a little peanut butter involved too)!
I make a healthy milkshake for the kids- peanut butter milkshake! Its got protein plus all the benefits if the vitamins in milk. You need 1/4 cup 2% milk, 2Tb peanut butter, 1Tb honey, and 3-4 scoops vanilla ice cream (we have substituted chocolate and frozen yogurt too).
Mix the milk, peanut butter, and honey in a blender for several seconds, until its smooth. Add the ice cream and pulse until it is mixed together. For a little treat, and to make it a little less healthy, sometimes the kids like to add a chopped up Reese’s cup or some mini chocolate chips after blending in the ice cream.
Everyone loves it- kids and moms!
my 3yr old twins don’t like ‘cold’ food – that said, i freeze fruit bits like grapes and strawberries and dipi in soy yogurt (dd allergic t omilk) prior to freezing.
my one year old loves frozen banana rounds! 🙂
My son went to William Sonoma with me last week and talked me into buying him the Zoku pop maker. Will definitely try making him these Greek yogurt pops!
We just looked into getting ice pop molds. So I will need recipes 🙂 for now it’s frozen yogurt and ice cream sandwiches from the store!
